Drive data governance and platform development:
You’ll design, implement, and improve our data governance platform, including metadata, lineage, and data definitions. You will actively populate and maintain governance artifacts, leveraging modern tooling and AI-assisted solutions to reflect the current state of our platform.
Support client implementations:
Act as a subject matter expert in data governance during client implementations and discovery phases. You’ll help ensure data structures and flows are scalable, transparent, and well-governed, while engaging directly with clients on topics such as data lineage, lifecycle management, and data quality.
Contribute to our data platform:
As part of the Data team, you’ll contribute to the development of our data lake, expanding data products, and unlocking new data sources. You’ll help deliver high-quality, near real-time data while maintaining consistency across the platform.
Strengthen data modeling and stewardship:
You’ll facilitate data stewardship practices, identify and resolve data modeling challenges, and improve data ownership, definitions, and consistency across teams.
Collaborate on internal data initiatives:
Work closely with cross-functional teams on key initiatives such as business key standardization, code table harmonization, data modeling governance, and API design consistency.

About You
Experience
- You have 4+years' experience with data governance, data management, or data architecture in a financial institution or similarly complex environment
- You have proficiency in Dutch and English
- You understand concepts such as data lineage, data lifecycle management, and data quality frameworks
- You have experience working in cross-functional environments with both business and engineering stakeholders
- You have a strong technical affinity and are able to work hands-on with data systems and codebases
- You have strong skills in Python, SQL, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and cloud development (AWS)
- Experience with Django and Apache Airflow is a plus
- You have experience with data platforms, metadata management, or data modeling
- You have an interest in or experience with AI-assisted development or automation
- You are able to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- You are a strong communicator who can engage both technical teams and business stakeholders, and you are willing to work from our office and occasionally travel to client locations
- You are proactive and structured, with a focus on driving tangible improvements
- You are comfortable operating in an evolving environment where priorities may shift
