Ohpen is looking for an Operations Officer to join our office in Amsterdam and closely collaborate with our Operations Lead and the wider Implementations team.

At Ohpen, you'll gain experience with cloud-native banking systems, work with leading financial institutions, and develop expertise in modern engineering and operational processes. The experience you build here can open doors to future opportunities in product, engineering, banking operations, or further specialization within Operations.

Your team

You'll join a small Operations team consisting of two senior specialists. We value ownership, initiative, and collaboration. You'll receive coaching and support while having the autonomy to take responsibility for your work - without micromanagement.

What you'll do

You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of back-office operations for our domestic and international BPO clients. Alongside running daily operations, you'll also support the onboarding of new clients.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Processing inbound and outbound payments through the Ohpen Platform
  • Managing investment fund orders and NAV processing
  • Performing operational reconciliations
  • Coordinating monthly acceptance testing for new platform releases
  • Monitoring and improving daily operational processes

About You

  • You have initial experience in an Operations role within financial services, or a relevant educational background complemented by a comparable traineeship or internship.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch would be a welcome – not strictly required
  • You are accurateorganized and structured with a sharp eye for detail even under time pressure.
  • You are motivated to take ownership of your work and grow into working independently, with the coaching and support of your team along the way.
  • You are keen to support communication flowing smoothly between internal teams and external clients as you help coordinate day-to-day process tasks.
  • You are curious about fintech and eager to learn to improve existing ways of working.
