Briefing
As a Business Analyst within the business rules & configurations team at Ohpen, you will play a critical role in matching client specific configuration requests with our overall cloud based mortgage origination & servicing platform. 

With your unique ability to communicate effectively between our UK based clients and our software development team, you will serve as a vital connector between both worlds.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive business performance and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our UK based clients as their "sparring partner," helping them maximize value from our cloud-based SaaS Core Banking Engine.
  • Facilitate onboarding of new clients onto our platform by aligning and implementing client specific configuration requests.
  • Understand customer needs and align them with our engineering teams to provide tailored solutions.
  • Act as a bridge between the technical development team and client stakeholders, ensuring that business needs are translated into functional requirements.
  • Leverage your mortgage industry expertise to analyse and address client-specific needs, providing insightful recommendations.
  • Advise customers on process improvements to enhance their overall experience.

About You
  • You have proven experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role, 5+ years) in a technology-driven environment.
  • You have prior experience in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on mortgages.
  • You have ability to engage with customers, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into functional solutions.
  • You have proven technical understanding of data flows and software development & deployment processes - XML, data models, SQL, DTAP, release notes, GitHub, Jira.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of cloud-based SaaS solutions, especially within financial technology.
  • Familiarity with Core Banking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive successful outcomes in complex environments.
